Vir Das, whose Santa Banta Pvt. Ltd. released this week, is now gearing up for Ajay Devgn’s magnum opus Shivaay. A close source to Vir says that he is putting in special efforts for his role the film — the actor is learning Urdu to get the nuances of the language. The source says, “Vir Das, who plays a Pakistani hacker in the film, will be seen conversing in Urdu. In fact, Ajay, who is helming the project, was keen on hiring a tutor for Vir and suggested him to learn the dialect. Vir has now hired a tutor to learn the language.”
When we contacted Vir, he said, “Urdu is a beautiful language. I think anyone who is working in Bollywood should be comfortable with Urdu since it is the second most spoken language that we use in our films. I am glad that because of Shivaay I am finally learning it now.”
